Work

The first picture is Alton UT in the southwest portion of the state, just south of Bryce Canyon. The whole area in the picture is area we surveyed and recorded sites.

the next picture is Milford UT in that picture you are actually looking at the foundations of the historic roundhouse we excavated.

Finally the last photo is the pass we take to get to the Uinta Basin for most of our oil and gas work. This is looking down from the Colorado pass that takes you through Rangely.

Photo request line...

So I've had a request to provide some photos of where I live and some work area photos...well I can do that!

This is my trailer...I know I know, but it doesn't have the same connotation out here as it does in the rest of the world. Remember that cabin without running water, well at least here I have a bath, dishwasher, and washing machine. I've reorganized my furniture some since these photos were taken (I had to put in that washer and dryer...) but you'll get the idea.

I have a fence on two sides which is really nice and on the other side of that fence is the open grassy area and currently I do have an empty lot next door but then a monstrous trailer next to that. The little girls who live in that trailer like to come over and get magazines...now one of them just comes in and tries to take things, needless to say I'm locking the door more religiously now.

The view from my house isn't bad either as long as you ignore the rooftops.

The way we were

It seems like not that long ago, I was with Gusher and mom and Glenn had Mahly and Fafner was just a little itty bitty boy. Well Mahly and Gus have traveled to a new realm and Fafner, well he's not so little anymore..

Deal or No Deal

Okay I will also admit I am completely addicted to Deal or No Deal...I enter 10 times on every episode for the lucky case game, have I won yet-No. I have great plans for 10,000 dollars. Of course I will be putting together an application to be on the episode when I go home at Christmas. Then we'll see if I can't make a deal...

So Mom, Mary and Glenn had best get ready for their audition.

I have great plans for a million dollars too :)

Did you see that tonight...she had a million and took $200,000...I would have held out for one more case on that instance.

Phin and I

So I am glad several of you came to visit my blog. This is my photo of Phin while I was there holding him. He such a little man. Granted his main interest at that time was lunch, but that came a little later when mommy-dog came back inside.

I figure I am going to have to talk about a few other things sooner or later, since I don't actually GET Phin until June....a long time of anticipation. Of course that is also a long time for shopping at PetSmart and PetCo. Not to mention some of the supplies mom is going to send out, like my blue little velvet bed. A few things from the Gusher are going to be passed down, like a little guardian angel (okay maybe a big guardian angel).

Pup Parents

This is daddy, Smokie.
This is momma, Willow with the babies.

Phinney

This is Phin and all of his siblings and he's the one in the middle.
This is the little man.
This is Phin and his black colored siblings.

Here's the scoop

Well Anne, led me to this place and here I am. I figured rather than continuing to bombard you all with puppy pictures and puppy news, I could just start a blog of the little man and I suppose other random thoughts.

So I believe, I've decided that he is going to be little Phineus and I'll call him Phinney. He was born April 14/2006.

Hi daddy is Frenchies Smokie and his mom is Frenchies Willow, both are very sweet dogs.

Frenchie's Groomery in Springville, Utah is where he is coming from. Leslie French and her family are taking great care of him for now, and she is the fabulous photographer of the little man.

Just an aside is anyone else very sad that both West Wing and Will and Grace are ending. That add for W&G gets me every time.
