I call it Megsie's World, but I think it is really Phin's World through photographs!
Well here are some new photos, including my new garage (minus the door-it's backordered). The rumor has it that this snow is going to stick. We've got about 5 inches and it's still snowing.
Phin is compeletly in love with the snow, he does the giant racing circles. Then of course he gets little snowballs on his feet so he starts chasing his feet. When he sat down to get the snowballs he got them on his tail...so the whirling dervish had great fun trying to catch the snow on his tail. It's hard to be a shaggy puppy. All in all though, it was a good day.
Phin's favorite spot is the lazy boy where he can watch the whole house and if he sits up he can see out the window. We also play a very fun game called 'race around the house' During which he grabs a stick and we run around the house over and over and over again. He does know he has to drop the stick at the door though. He's a very good boy. In fact yesterday was his first day with the run of the house while I was at work and he did pretty good. He only shredded a role of toilet paper. Sorry to those of you who I have been negligent in writing to. Just know that I am thinking about you, I just don't have the same kind of internet time I used to.
Take care-Meg
Hello all-Well Phin has had company for a few days, my friend Adam's dog came to visit while Adm was in the field. Phinney is totally enamored with her, she would prefer he leave her alone. Although Ebony has protected Phin against the slightly aggressive neighbor dogs. She wouldn't even let them look at Phin. Although it's a good thing I have big bed, or these two would have me sleeping on the floor.
Phin also had his first vet trip...very exciting.
We're doing good though, no accidents or anything....he is very taken with my leather sandles, of course these have already been chewed by Sophie, so he can't do too much more damage :)
Well, we're home! It was a very exciting day. Phinny made it all the way to Arches before puking on Patricia. That's my boy!
Phin was very scared and wouldn't go potty all the way home. When we got home I walked him around for awhile and when we came inside he decided he had to go.
We've explored the house, Phin likes the bed. He was particularily fond of the monkey he found in the bed. Phin is still pretty nervous, but we've only been home an hour and a half right now.
And from one of the pictures you can tell that he has calmed down a bit and is taking a nap next to me while I get this post ready. I have to say he is definately a sprawling sleeper :)
I am so happy to have him home. He is just the sweetest. The self portrait was a bit difficult to take but it will do for the folks to see us both.
